Bonnie O'Brien Jonsson is an author who has taught mindfulness courses in person at Google and at the University of California Berkeley School of Law. She teaches Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through the University of California at San Francisco’s Osher Center for Integrative Medicine and is a member of an international community of MBSR teachers.
Bonnie led ninety groups with nine hundred participants through year-long programs she created called A Year to Live, based on the book by Stephen Levine. She has taught daylong and multiple-day workshop/retreats called Living Mindfully Now! around the country and is a guest teacher at meditation groups throughout the San Francisco Bay Area reaching thousands of people. She trained at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and is a Buddhist Ritual Minister.
She is currently working on her memoir.
